Scarlett Johansson says her character “kicks arse” in new movie The Avengers.
The Lost in Translation beauty is currently reprising her Iron Man 2 role of Black Widow for the comic book movie which sees her character team up with Captain America, Thor and Iron Man.
“I just love the opportunity to play a strong female superhero who isn’t being used as any kind of romantic ploy or plot,” says Scarlett. “There’s no time for romance in the Widow’s world and I like that. She just kicks ass!”
Recent reports claimed Scarlett wants to get back with ex-husband Ryan Reynolds.
“She has been calling him incessantly trying to see him, trying to meet up with him or see how he is,” a source said.
“Ryan still loves her, but he does not want to get played again. … He feels she just quit on him.”
